Job Description:
Audit Senior - £47,000 to £52,000 - Beaconsfield

Looking for an Audit Senior role where you’re trusted to lead, not just follow instructions?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking firm where Audit Seniors are given real responsibility - leading engagements, managing client relationships, and developing junior staff, rather than being stuck in a narrow delivery role.
The Role - Audit Senior
As an Audit Senior, you will:
*Lead audits from planning through to completion
*Supervise and review the work of junior team members
*Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
*Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK standards
*Assess risk and evaluate internal controls
*Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard

This is a hands-on Audit Senior position where you’ll be trusted to run your own jobs and make decisions.
What You’ll Need
To be successful as an Audit Senior, you will have:
*Experience working in an accountancy practice in an audit-focused role
*Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
*Experience leading audits and managing workflow
*Confidence dealing directly with clients
*Either ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience

Exposure to more complex areas such as group audits, acquisitions, IFRS or restructures would be beneficial.
Why This Role Stands Out*Genuine responsibility - not just supporting, but leading
*Exposure to a varied and interesting client base
*Opportunity to develop technically and progress your career
*Supportive team environment with a focus on quality and development
*Clear progression pathway as you grow within the firm

If you’re an Audit Senior who wants more ownership, more variety, and a clearer path forward, this is well worth exploring.
