Experience for this Mental Health Solicitor role:

*Minimum of 3 years solid experience in Mental Health and have attained their Mental Health Scheme Accreditation
*Strong advocacy experience
*Representing clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983
*Representing clients in managers’ hearings and renewal meetings in Primary Care Trusts
*Undertaking own advocacy at Tribunals and County Courts
*Making applications in respect of relative displacement
Advising clients on consent issues
*Bringing Judicial Review proceedings
*Analysing and evaluating psychiatric reports and social circumstances reports
*Court of Protection applications
*Community treatment orders
