Nursery Support AssistantLocation: East Finchley, Barnet
A warm and inclusive Primary School in East Finchley is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and energetic Nursery Support Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role involves providing support within a Nursery class, working closely with young children to support their learning, development, and wellbeing during these crucial early years.
This is a highly rewarding position, ideal for someone who is nurturing, patient, and passionate about early childhood education.

*Works well as part of a team and follows guidance effectively
Role Overview*Supporting children aged 3-4 within a Nursery setting
*Assisting with play-based learning, routine, and care
*Full-time, long-term role
*Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
*Immediate start or September start available
Key Responsibilities*Supporting children with learning through play and structured activities
*Promoting positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
*Assisting with personal care routines where required
*Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
*Supporting children’s social and emotional development
*Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team
*Supporting learning both indoors and outdoors
Requirements*Minimum 6 months’ experience working with young children
*Experience or strong interest in Early Years / Nursery settings
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
*Able to commit to a full-time role
