SEND Teacher

Full Time (40 hours/week)
Our client is seeking a passionate and resilient SEND Teacher to join their specialist provision supporting young people aged 11-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional behavioural challenges.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who thrives in a nurturing, trauma-informed environment and is committed to helping vulnerable learners re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
*Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learner needs
*Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and challenging behaviours through therapeutic and adaptive teaching approaches
*Promote both academic progress and emotional development
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral teams and specialist staff
*Contribute to a positive, structured and supportive learning environment
The ideal candidate will have:*QTS or QTLS
*Experience working within SEND, SEMH or alternative provision settings
*Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
*Experience teaching English and/or PSHE
*A compassionate, patient and adaptable approach to teaching
*A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
