Role and Responsibilities:
As an Area Sales Manager, reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Scotland through managing existing accounts and developing new business.
You will:
*Grow sales year on year within your region
*Manage and develop local and national customer accounts
*Identify and convert new business opportunities
*Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline and report on performance
*Work closely with internal teams to deliver a high level of customer service
*Represent Hydraquip professionally with customers and at industry events
What we’re looking for
Essential experience
*At least 3 years’ experience in a field-based sales or account management role
*Proven ability to grow accounts and win new business
*Experience managing multiple customer accounts
*Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
*Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
*Strong organisation skills and ability to work independently
Desirable experience
*Experience in engineering, industrial, hydraulics, MHE, or technical sales
*Knowledge of the Scottish market
*Experience selling solutions or service-based products
