Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Private Sector Housing Team Manager for a Local Authority Client in West London.
In this role you will lead the Private Sector Housing team to deliver enforcement, licensing, and housing standards improvements.
*Duties: *
*Lead and manage the Private Sector Housing team, ensuring effective delivery of enforcement and licensing services
*Oversee investigations, prosecutions, civil penalties, and rent repayment orders
*Manage team performance, budgets, and service improvement activities
*Work with councillors, partners, and stakeholders to deliver housing standards and regulatory compliance
*Qualifications and Experience: *
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
*Significant experience in Private Sector Housing within a local authority setting
*Proven track record of managing housing enforcement, including HMOs and licensing schemes
*Experience leading teams, including performance management and service delivery improvement
*Strong knowledge of housing legislation, enforcement powers, and regulatory processes
What’s on offer:
Salary: £68,685.00
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
