Job RoleAs a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in a child’s academic journey. Your responsibilities include:
*Delivering high-impact, engaging lessons in Literacy and Numeracy tailored to Years 1 and 2.
*Supporting pupils through critical milestones, including the Phonics Screening Check and KS1 SATs.
*Maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere through effective behaviour management.
*Adapting quickly to different school environments and following pre-set lesson plans with enthusiasm.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
*Essential: You must have previous UK experience teaching within a Key Stage 1 setting.
*A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Phonics schemes (e.g., Read Write Inc).
*An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for a new one).
