Your new company
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Plumber / Water Hygiene Remedial Operative to support a programme of remedial works across a large commercial contract. The role will involve carrying out post-risk assessment actions to ensure full compliance with water hygiene and Legionella control standards.
Your new role
*Delivering Legionella and water hygiene remedial works in occupied and vacant buildings
*Servicing, repairing, and replacing TMVs
*Identifying and removing redundant pipework and dead legs
*Carrying out pipework alterations and outlet replacements
*Improving access to systems and installing isolation valves where required
*Completing remedial works on cold water storage tanks
*Addressing hot water return and circulation issues
*Undertaking flushing and purging of water systems
What you’ll need to succeed
*Proven experience in plumbing and water hygiene remedial works
*Strong understanding of Legionella control and water hygiene principles
*Working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274 Part 2, and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations
*Ability to work independently across a large, multi-building estate
