We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients. We are ideally looking for someone with 2-6 year PQE to run cases start to finish.
Responsibilities
*Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
*Providing clear and professional communication with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other relevant parties.
*Preparing and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and SDLT forms.
*Conducting property searches and liaising with external providers to obtain necessary reports.
*Ensuring all transactions comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
*Managing deadlines efficiently to ensure timely completion of transactions.
*Maintaining accurate case files and updating case management systems regularly.
*Advising clients on legal procedures related to property transactions and answering any queries they may have.
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
*Proficient IT skills, including experience with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Good time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
*Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review.
