Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join a fast-paced E-Commerce operation based in Slough. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy warehouse environment and is looking to progress within a growing business.
This role will see you leading day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of productivity, organisation and safety.
Key Responsibilities*Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
*Oversee all warehouse activities including inbound goods, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns
*Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time
*Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and operational efficiency
*Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
*Train and support new and existing team members on warehouse processes and safety procedures
*Monitor warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
*Work closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements
*Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
*Resolve order discrepancies and warehouse-related issues promptly and professionally
*Liaise with customer service teams regarding customer enquiries and feedback
Skills & Experience Required*Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience within a fast-paced environment
*Minimum 3 years warehouse experience preferred
*Experience within E-Commerce or high-volume order fulfilment environments advantageous
*Strong understanding of warehouse management systems
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively
*Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Valid FLT licence required
*Dangerous Goods certification preferred but not essential
