Head of Digital Media / Performance


Rickmansworth (Hybrid)


Up to £70K + profit share


We’re looking for a Head of Digital Media / Performance to join this growing independent agency.


This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who genuinely lives and breathes performance marketing. You’ll lead Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic activity across a varied portfolio of Higher Education, B2B and Consumer clients, while becoming a key voice within the agency and helping shape the future of its media offering.


This isn’t a role where you’ll sit away from the detail. They’re looking for someone who still enjoys being close to the work, spotting opportunities in the data, driving optimisation, solving problems and pushing performance forward across every channel.


You’ll work closely with insight and dashboard specialists to turn reporting into actionable recommendations for clients, while also playing a key role in pitches, strategic planning and the ongoing evolution of the agency’s digital media capability.


You’ll need strong experience across Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic, along with a genuinely strong understanding of platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Experience with GA4, GTM, attribution, audience segmentation, optimisation and performance reporting is important here too.


They’re looking for someone commercially minded, analytical and confident in front of clients. Someone who can challenge thinking, simplify complexity and bring clarity and energy to performance conversations.


You’ll also help mentor and develop the wider team, work closely with SEO and strategy teams on integrated campaigns, and stay ahead of developments across AI, automation, platform innovation and the evolving paid media landscape.
