We’re supporting a well-established law firm in Essex that is continuing to grow its residential conveyancing offering. They are now seeking a confident fee earner to manage a varied caseload while being part of a supportive, down-to-earth team culture.
What you’ll be doing
As a key Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will manage a busy and varied caseload of residential property matters, typically 25–30 new files per month, including:
*Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*New build transactions
*Transfers of equity
*Managing files from instruction through to completion
*Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the process
*Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
*Supervising support staff where required
*Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, billing, and time recording
*Contributing to the continued growth and development of the conveyancing department
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
*3+ years’ PQE as a Conveyancing Fee Earner, Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
*Strong experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload
*A proactive, positive approach and the confidence to work independently
*Excellent communication and client-care skills
*Strong IT skills and a willingness to support business development
*Ambition to progress within a growing team
