Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for a Junior Electronics Engineer to join their technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an early stage in their engineering career to develop their skills within a supportive environment. The role focuses on product data management, technical support, and working with electronic components, offering great exposure across engineering and operations.
Junior Electronics Engineer Responsibilities
*Create and maintain part numbers and product records within the MRP system
*Support the setup and testing of Bill of Materials (BOMs) before production
*Assist with technical queries from customers and internal teams
*Review technical drawings and help identify suitable components and suppliers
*Keep product and supplier data accurate and up to date
*Maintain a library of datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation
*Support product inspections and quality checks when required
*Ensure all engineering data is accurately recorded and accessible
What We’re Looking For
*Basic understanding of electronic or electrical components
*Some experience or exposure to MRP/ERP systems (or willingness to learn)
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
*Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
*Well-organised with the ability to manage workload effectively
