Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a busy public sector environment on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised individual with a strong maintenance management background to secure a long-term role.

Applicants can come from any recognised trade background, including electrical, mechanical, or joinery disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:*Managing day-to-day maintenance operations
*Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
*Ensuring compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations
*Managing and updating computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
*Coordinating contractors and maintenance teams
*Monitoring performance, repairs, and reactive maintenance works
*Supporting continuous improvement across facilities operations
Essential Requirements:*SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in a recognised electrical, mechanical, or joinery trade discipline
*HNC in an Engineering subject
*IOSH Managing Safely certificate (or equivalent)
*Proven experience within facilities management and maintenance operations
*Experience managing PPM schedules and computerised maintenance repair systems
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Must be able to pass a disclosure/background check for this role
