Job Description:
School Caretaker - Temporary Cover
We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Caretaker to provide full-time temporary cover at a school in Hartlepool, for one week, with the potential to extend.
Location: Hartlepool
Dates: Sunday 18th May - Thursday 22nd May
Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
*Opening and securing the school site
*General site maintenance and health & safety checks
*Ensuring the premises are clean, safe, and ready for daily use
*Responding to basic maintenance issues as required
Essential Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
*Previous experience in a school caretaker or site manager role
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Good understanding of health and safety within a school environment
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caretaker available at short notice to support a school during a busy period.
