Job Description:
Handle Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead brand and marketing strategy across a portfolio of culturally respected music brands, venues, and live entertainment projects.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who understands the intersection of culture, brand, audience growth, and live events. We are looking for a strategic marketer with strong creative instincts, proven leadership experience, and a deep understanding of how to build audience demand and long-term brand value.
The successful candidate will oversee marketing across multiple music and entertainment businesses, shaping brand positioning, leading campaigns, driving revenue growth, and managing a high-performing team.
The RoleKey responsibilities include:
*Leading overarching brand and marketing strategy across multiple music and entertainment brands
*Managing and developing a team of Marketing Managers across various venues and projects
*Overseeing content, creative, and design functions to deliver standout campaigns and content strategies
*Driving audience growth, ticket sales, and long-term customer engagement
*Leading paid media strategy, audience development, and CRM direction
*Ensuring each brand maintains a clear and distinct voice, identity, and positioning
*Building marketing systems, processes, and reporting structures to improve performance
*Partnering with senior leadership on long-term growth strategy and new business opportunities
The ideal candidate will:*Have significant senior-level marketing experience within music, culture, entertainment, nightlife, or live events
*Understand how to build culturally relevant brands that deliver commercial success
*Have experience managing creative, content, and marketing teams
*Think strategically while remaining highly execution-focused and detail-oriented
*Possess a strong understanding of audience psychology, digital marketing, and modern discovery behaviour
*Demonstrate excellent creative judgement and high standards across brand and design
*Be able to balance short-term commercial objectives with long-term brand building
*Be highly collaborative and confident leading cross-functional teams
*Have a strong track record of managing, developing, and coaching high-performing individuals within commercially driven environments
Desirable Experience*Experience marketing clubs, festivals, live music venues, or ticketed events
*Strong understanding of nightlife and music culture
*Experience launching new venues, concepts, or entertainment projects
