The Tailored Tree is a UK-based digital marketing agency helping SMEs grow their online presence and generate real, measurable results. Our core services include web design, paid advertising, social media management, and business automation. We’re scaling fast and building a sales team to match.
The Role
We’re looking for a driven Business Development Representative to join us on a freelance basis. This is a full-cycle role — you’ll take prospects from first contact all the way through to close, working across phone, email, and LinkedIn. You’ll be given everything you need to hit the ground running: qualified leads, a Dialpad account, HubSpot CRM access, and a company email. What we need from you is the hunger, the skill, and the work ethic to convert.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Prospecting and reaching out to potential clients via cold call, email, and LinkedIn
*Qualifying leads and identifying the right decision-makers
*Running discovery calls and presenting our services with confidence
*Managing your pipeline end-to-end in HubSpot
*Closing deals and handing off to the delivery team
*Hitting and exceeding monthly revenue targets
Commission Structure
*Base retainer of £25,200 per annum
*15% commission on the first payment of every deal you close
*Threshold-based escalation — the higher the deal value, the higher your commission rate climbs
*Strong performers are realistically earning £4,000–£8,000 per month all-in
What We’re Looking For
*1–2 years of B2B sales experience — agency, SaaS, or professional services background preferred
*Comfortable running the full sales cycle from cold outreach through to close
*Confident on the phone — objection handling is second nature to you
*Self-motivated and able to manage your own time as a freelancer
*Organised with a disciplined approach to pipeline management
*HubSpot or CRM experience is a bonus
*Must have your own laptop
*Must have the right to work in the UK
