Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? Teaching Personnel is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Teaching Assistants across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Blackpool, Wyre, and Fylde from September 2026.
About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, supporting teachers and helping pupils to reach their full potential. Duties may include:
*Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or group basis
*Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
*Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Supporting children with additional needs where required
*Encouraging engagement, confidence, and progress
Who We’re Looking ForWe welcome applications from individuals who:
*Have a genuine interest in working with children
*Demonstrate patience, positivity, and strong communication skills
*Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
*Are reliable, proactive, and adaptable
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential. If you’re new to education but committed to a career in schools, Teaching Personnel can support you in completing a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification alongside your work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
