Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-established and growing legal business for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and supportive finance team. This role will play an important part in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and processes are completed efficiently.
Working closely with the wider finance team, you will assist with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, helping to maintain smooth financial operations across the business. Responsibilities will include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, assisting with payment runs, and supporting with month-end duties. The position offers excellent exposure to a broad range of finance processes and provides a strong opportunity for long-term development and progression. This role is well suited to an organised and motivated individual who is looking to further develop their finance and accounting skills within a professional environment.
Skills Required:
*Fantastic organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and workloads effectively.
*Great communication skills both verbally and written, to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
*Proven knowledge of Excel, to have the ability to hit the ground running and assist with reporting.
*A positive and proactive approach with a willingness to learn new skills and systems.
*Previous experience within a finance role, either payable or receivables would be beneficial.
