Job Title: Trade Credit Business Development Executive
Location: Remote – with regular office collaboration and weekly visits to regional locations
Salary: £80,000 – £125,000 DOE + bonus

Role Summary:
This is a pure new business Trade Credit opportunity focused on winning and developing mid-market clients across a varied sector base. Working closely with an experienced leadership team and dedicated internal support function, you’ll have the freedom to build pipeline your way while benefiting from strong technical and delivery support behind the scenes. The role offers the chance to join a growing specialist division with genuine long-term earning potential and a collaborative team culture.


Key Responsibilities:
*Drive new business acquisition within Trade Credit insurance, giving you full ownership of pipeline generation and revenue growth
*Develop opportunities through referrals, introducers, networking and proactive outbound activity, helping you build a sustainable sales engine
*Manage the full sales cycle from prospect engagement through to onboarding, allowing you to take ownership of client outcomes end-to-end
*Build relationships with mid-market businesses across a range of sectors, working on commercially significant cases and portfolios
*Present tailored Trade Credit solutions to clients and negotiate effectively with insurers and markets
*Collaborate regularly with the wider Bristol-based team and internal support functions, ensuring strong delivery and shared success across the business


Requirements:
*Proven retail Trade Credit insurance experience (essential)
*Strong track record in new business development and revenue generation
*Confident developing leads through cold outreach, introducers and referral networks
*Commercially credible when engaging mid-market businesses and stakeholders
*Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
*Understanding of FCA regulation and compliant client delivery
