You will be working in the Cementation OU in where with more than 100 years of proud history, Cementation Skanska brings deep foundation expertise built on decades of experience across roads, rail, iconic skylines, arenas, energy projects and flood defences. Our in-house piling and foundations teams work alongside steel fabrication, geotechnical and infrastructure monitoring to deliver complete, integrated solutions. We also offer an extensive archive of geotechnical records to support early engagement with customers and stakeholders throughout appraisal and planning.
We are currently looking for a Piling Rig Operator who will provide a range of hands on site services to our customers on prestigious construction projects. Operatives typically undertake a variety of site support and facilitation tasks.
As the Piling Rig Operator, you will:
*Set up and work within the limits of the machine by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
*Perform the rig maintenance schedule and minor routine repairs.
*Unload the rig from transport and set up for operation
*Operate and understand the rig instrumentation system.
*Operate the rig safely during boring, insertion and removal of temporary casing and material placing operations.
*Follow Materials control compliance and procedures.
*Maintain records of work carried out and complete company documentation.
We are looking for:
*CPCS Rig Operator Red Card
*Rig Operator NVQ level 2
*CSCS Health and Safety Testing
*CPCS Slinger/Signaller Red Card
*Manual Handling (1/2 day Course)
*Experience of working in the construction industry and understanding construction site methods, processes and safe working practices.
