Warehouse Operations Manager (FMCG) Vacancy
*Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

*Salary: up to £52k per annum DOE
We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the strategic planning, coordination, and management of our warehouse operations. This role involves a blend of operational tasks and hands-on management, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, staff supervision, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Manage all aspects of inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring adherence to order specifications, goods allocation, and space planning.
*Maintain accurate stock control systems and ensure inventories are precise.
*Produce regular reports on staff and stock for various internal teams.
*Plan future capacity requirements and manage the supply, supervision, and pay of all staff in line with business objectives.
*Monitor the daily tasks and workloads of employees and agency workers, ensuring compliance with standard warehouse procedures and specific order requirements.
*Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
*Oversee the maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
*Enhance warehouse resources and equipment to meet quality, budgetary targets, and environmental objectives.
*Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems as necessary.
*Motivate and encourage teamwork within the warehouse to meet or exceed productivity targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a role that involves strategic planning.
*Knowledgeable in health and safety compliance specific to a warehouse environment.
*Skilled in inventory control, operational efficiency, and preparation for shipments.
*Proficient in team management, staff planning, and workforce scheduling.
*Strong organisational and coordination skills.
*Dependable and reliable with a commitment to quality assurance and service standards.
*Awareness of equipment maintenance and workplace cleanliness.
*Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, with an understanding of regulatory compliance.
