Job Description:
I am currently working with a London-based financial services client who are actively seeking a Senior Fullstack Python Developer to work on the development of a next-generation research platform.
What you’ll need to succeed:
*Strong Python software engineering experience beyond exploratory scripts
*Hands-on experience working with notebooks as part of real analytical or research workflows
*Experience building systems that support data analysis, simulations, or computational research
*Understanding of the challenges around reproducibility, dependency management, and scientific software performance
*Comfortable working across the stack (backend + UI or APIs)
*Ability to collaborate closely with non-traditional "software engineer" users such as researchers, quants, or scientists
*Background in quantitative finance or research engineering
What you’ll get in return:
*Up to £1100pd Umbrella.
*Initial 12-month contract with extensions.
*London-based hybrid working.
