The Opportunity
As Head of Finance, you’ll take full ownership of the finance function for a growing business unit, acting as a key commercial partner to both operational leadership and Group Finance.
You’ll lead from the front - setting standards, driving performance, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Managing a team of five across transactional finance and management accounts, you’ll play a key role in developing talent and building a forward-thinking, high-performing function.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, mentor and develop a team across AP, AR, Credit Control and Management Accounts
*Own the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
*Partner with Group Finance to align reporting, controls and best practice
*Drive improvements across systems, processes and financial controls
*Oversee management accounts and support commercial reporting
*Introduce and monitor KPIs to drive both team and business performance
*Provide insight, challenge and support to senior stakeholders
*Create an ambitious, high-performance culture aligned to business growth
About You
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*Experienced in managing and developing teams
*Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
*Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge and influence
*Proactive, hands-on, and driven to continuously improve
