A well-established, fast-paced business based in Kidlington is looking to appoint a Transactional Finance Manager. It’s a hands-on role within a busy operational environment, supporting strong growth and working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders.
Your new role
You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end transactional finance function, overseeing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Key areas include:
*Managing an outsourced AP provider, ensuring SLAs and performance standards are met
*Leading and developing an AR team, overseeing invoicing, credit control, and cash collection
*Ownership of bank reconciliations and cash controls
*Managing corporate credit cards and expense processes
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns
*Driving process improvements and maintaining strong financial controls
It’s a varied role with real responsibility across cashflow, controls, and team management.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Strong transactional finance experience across AP, AR, bank recs, and VAT
*Experience managing people
*Confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
*Solid Excel and systems skills
*AAT qualified or part-qualified is beneficial
