Warehouse Operative/Forklift driver

Temporary to Permanent
Pay - £14.83 per hour
8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) to join their team on a contract basis. This dynamic role involves both warehouse and forklift responsibilities, making it a diverse and engaging opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:*Operating a counterbalance forklift to manage, move, and store goods in the warehouse
*Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and safely
*Maintaining the organisation of the warehouse/stores area
*Performing regular inventory checks and stock takes
*Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety guidelines
*Utilising computer systems to log and track inventory
*Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Job Requirements:*Proven experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
*Valid counterbalance forklift license
*Computer literacy and ability to use inventory management systems
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Details:*Contract position
*Working hours: 8am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break
*Rolling contract offering stability and continuity
