We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturing business based in Bootle for a Customer Service Account Manager to join their supportive and fast-paced team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys building strong customer relationships, taking ownership of accounts, and working in a varied role where no two days are the same. The business has built a strong reputation within its industry and offers a stable working environment with genuine long-term opportunities for the right person.
The successful candidate will work closely with both customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey from order placement through to delivery and aftercare, playing a key role in maintaining high service standards and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts
*Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a key point of contact
*Processing orders, arranging deliveries and handling billing queries
*Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
*Liaising with operations and transport teams to ensure smooth service delivery
*Resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally
*Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services where appropriate
*Maintaining accurate customer records, logs and account information
*Supporting the wider team in delivering an excellent customer experience
About You:
*Experience within account management or B2B customer service
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Confident using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
*Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
*Able to work independently whilst also contributing positively within a team environment
*An understanding of Oracle would be ideal but isn’t essential
