JOB ROLE

An international law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate with one to three years of post-qualification experience to join its Mergers & Acquisitions team in London.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, corporate restructurings, recapitalisations, strategic partnerships, cross-border transactions, auctions, takeovers, equity capital markets transactions, joint ventures, and private equity and venture capital investments.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
*Advising clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters
*Assisting with the management and execution of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
*Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents and ancillary agreements
*Conducting legal due diligence and coordinating disclosure exercises
*Managing transaction timelines, workstreams and communications with clients and counterparties
*Supporting partners and senior lawyers on complex corporate transactions
*Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions
*Participating in business development and client relationship initiatives
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
*One to three years of post-qualification experience in mergers & acquisitions
*Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, or otherwise eligible to practise in England & Wales without sponsorship
*Excellent drafting and project management skills
*Strong academic background
