Kickstart Your Paraplanning Career with a Progressive Financial Planning Firm
Are you looking to take the next step into paraplanning or build on your early experience within financial services?
We’re working with a forward-thinking and growing financial planning business seeking an ambitious Associate Paraplanner to join their collaborative team. This role is the perfect stepping stone for someone looking to develop technical expertise while gaining hands-on exposure to both straightforward and more complex client advice.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting Financial Planners and senior Paraplanners, ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant, and high-quality advice.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting low-risk advice cases (top-ups, withdrawals, risk profile changes, income adjustments)
Preparing client reports, summaries, and recommendations
Assisting with cashflow modelling and financial analysis
Conducting research using financial planning tools and provider platforms
Helping to prepare and maintain compliant client files and records
Supporting technical calculations (e.g. CGT, annual allowance)
Assisting on more complex cases, including data gathering and analysis
Collaborating with advisers and paraplanners to ensure smooth case progression
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from individuals who are:
Already working in financial services (e.g. admin, junior paraplanner, or similar)
Building knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident analysing and interpreting client information
A strong communicator who thrives in a team environment
A commitment to studying towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is highly desirable (support typically available).
Why Join?
A clear pathway into full paraplanning
Exposure to both simple and complex advice cases
A supportive team environment focused on development
Hybrid working – flexibility built into your week
Opportunity to grow technical expertise and progress your career
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If you’re motivated, detail-driven, and ready to develop your career in paraplanning, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
