Assistant Gas Engineer (Mains & Services)
Location: Twickenham, TW18
Starting Salary Dependant on experience: £31,000 - £35,000 per annum + Overtime + Pension + Healthcare

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Gas Engineer who will play a vital role in assisting the Gas Network/Service Engineer to install, replace and maintain underground pipework and associated equipment at customer’s premises and public highways.
The Ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and possess strong customer service skills. They will also be able to prioritise well and work to tight schedules.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE
*Assist the Gas Network/Service Engineer with all aspects of the role
*Domestic & Commercial site work including installations, replacement and maintenance of underground pipe work.
*Manual handling
*Operating Pneumatic tooling in a safe manner
*Use mechanical excavators
*Use of breathing apparatus
*Travel will be required as part of the role.
As such we would like you to:
*Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
*Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the UK
*Experience in a similar role
*Be flexible and willing to travel
*Have strong customer services skills
*Be an organised individual
*Ideally hold a EUSR SHEA Gas safety qualification
*Ideally hold a NRSWA certificate for operatives
*Ideally Hold a NPORS plant operators qualification
