Key Responsibilities:
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in supporting the kitchen operation and delivering high-quality fresh food across busy services.
*Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
*Prepare and deliver fresh, homemade dishes to a high standard
*Assist with seasonal menu ideas and daily specials
*Lead the kitchen team during busy services
*Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
*Support functions, private events, and busy Sunday services
*Help manage stock control and kitchen organisation
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a Sous Chef who enjoys working with fresh food in a fast-paced but supportive environment.
*Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
*Passion for quality fresh food and seasonal ingredients
*Calm and organised during busy services
*Strong communication and leadership skills
*Experience within a fresh food pub or restaurant environment
*Reliable, motivated, and keen to progress within a growing business
