Job Description:
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join a high-tech instrumentation team building advanced optical and electronic systems used in cutting-edge scientific applications.
As Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities include:
*Assemble and test precision instruments (electronics + optics)
*Build electrical harnesses and electronic sub-systems
*Align optical components using laser systems
*Carry out Final Acceptance Testing (training provided)
*Follow detailed work instructions and record test data accurately
*Support fault finding and repair activities
*Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
Experience required:
*Strong hands-on assembly experience and excellent attention to detail
*Experience in electronics, optics, or precision instrumentation (approx. 3 years)
*Ability to perform basic fault finding (e.g. continuity testing)
*Comfortable working in a lab/PPE environment
*Team player with good communication skills
*Laser/optics experience desirable
