The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a driven and commercially focused New Business Sales Executive to join a growing commercial insurance team based in Aylesbury.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building new client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
*Proactively identify and win new commercial insurance clients through networking, referrals, outbound activity, and market research
*Build and manage a strong pipeline to consistently achieve sales targets
*Deliver tailored presentations and proposals based on client needs and risk profiles
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
*Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
*Conduct detailed fact-finding to understand client risks and insurance requirements
*Provide expert advice on appropriate cover and insurance solutions
Insurance Placement & Negotiation
*Work closely with internal underwriting and broking teams to secure competitive terms
*Prepare and present high-quality quotations and recommendations
Compliance & Administration
*Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on CRM and policy systems
*Manage documentation relating to client interactions, risk assessments, and quotations
About You
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience within commercial insurance sales
*Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk assessment
*Proven track record in a target-driven sales environment
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
*Experience using CRM systems (e.g. MS Dynamics)
