Description
The Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer will need;


*Review of tender specifications
*Creating and checking of tender documentation including drawings, specifications, parts lists, and technical descriptions.
*Technical coordination of vendors for sub-contractor parts/services.
*Project planning and technical support of commercial discussions with Customers and suppliers.


Field support
*Provide technical support during rotating equipment and gas turbine overhaul
*Secondment to site.
*Preparing installation procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
Product development
*Develop Models, drawings and specifications for a wide range of rotating equipment and gas turbine component parts and assemblies.


Other Duties
*Respond to both internal and external technical enquiries.
*Review and action production concession requests and non-conformance reports.
*Respond to repair process and development issues.
*Conduct RCA’s in conjunction with field and customer representatives.
*Site surveys as required.


Profile
A successful Rotating Equipment Engineer should have:
*A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
*Experience working with rotating equipment within the energy & natural resources industry.
*Ideally knowledge of Industrial Gas Turbines
*Strong technical knowledge of maintenance and repair processes.
*Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
*Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
*The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
