MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: Up to £42,000
Shift: Double Days (Monday – Friday 6-2/2-10)
Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer
A new opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global manufacturing business at their Basingstoke site. The facility operates within a technically advanced production environment, manufacturing specialist products supplied into the healthcare and laboratory sectors worldwide.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across production and manufacturing equipment, ensuring machinery reliability, minimal downtime and continuous operational performance across the site.
Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
*Experience within a manufacturing or automated production environment.
*Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
*Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
*Ability to fault find on manufacturing and automated machinery.
*Experience working with motors, sensors, drives and control systems.
*Ability to work alongside production teams, quality departments and external contractors.
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
*Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
*Comfortable working within a fast-paced production environment.
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
*PLC fault finding experience.
*Experience within food, pharmaceutical, medical or other regulated manufacturing environments.
*Exposure to packaging, process or laboratory-based manufacturing equipment.
*Multi-skilled engineering background.
