Mobile Cleaner / Housekeeper

SALARY: £12.71 per Hour + Benefits
LOCATION: Travel required across Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall and Birmingham
JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 22.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday (negotiable)
Please note: Full driving licence with access to own vehicle and willingness to travel across sites is essential

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Mobile Cleaner / Housekeeper to support the cleanliness and presentation of accommodation properties and office locations across the West Midlands.
As a Mobile Cleaner / Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and health and safety across communal areas, offices and temporary accommodation. Duties include deep cleaning, preparing void properties for re-letting and supporting safe, welcoming environments.
The successful Mobile Cleaner / Housekeeper will be organised, dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a supportive team. Previous experience within cleaning services, housekeeping, accommodation cleaning or facilities support is desirable, although full training will be provided.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Mobile Cleaner / Housekeeper include:
*Cleaning Offices and Communal Areas: Vacuuming, dusting and mopping reception areas, meeting rooms and shared spaces
*Deep Cleaning Accommodation: Preparing void properties, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms ready for re-letting
*Maintaining Hygiene Standards: Ensuring accommodation and office environments remain clean, safe and presentable
*Waste Removal: Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately across all locations
*Cleaning Floors and Carpets: Vacuuming carpets, spot cleaning spillages and mopping hard floors
*Cleaning Fixtures and Fittings: Dusting and maintaining internal glass, doors and surfaces
*Restocking Facilities: Replenishing toiletries and cleaning supplies where required
*Using Cleaning Equipment Safely: Following COSHH guidance and training when using cleaning materials and machinery
*Reporting Maintenance Issues: Highlighting defects or safety concerns to the relevant team
*Travelling Between Sites: Visiting accommodation properties and office locations as required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
*Previous experience in a customer-focused environment
*Experience with cleaning duties within accommodation, office or communal settings is desirable
*Good understanding of health and safety procedures relating to cleaning materials and equipment
*Ability to work independently with limited supervision
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*Good time management and organisational skills
*Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
*Willingness to undertake training and follow instructions
*Commitment to safeguarding, equality and diversity
