iQ Workspace is a growing office furniture dealer based in Norwich, Norfolk, with a strong reputation and an ambitious vision. We need a commercially driven sales leader to own our growth strategy, win new business, and build a high-performing team that takes us to the next level.


The opportunity
This is a rare chance to step into a senior commercial role with genuine influence over the direction of the business. You’ll have the influence to shape how we sell, who we sell to, and how we build a team that delivers lasting results. What you’ll do
*Lead new business development — proactively identify, pursue and convert new clients across the commercial and public sectors.
*Build and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with our ambitious growth targets.
*Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities from first contact through to close.
*Cultivate long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
*Manage, mentor and grow a small sales team — setting clear targets, providing coaching, and creating a culture of accountability and success.
*Work closely with the wider business to ensure seamless delivery and an exceptional client experience.
*Report on sales performance, pipeline health and market activity to senior leadership.








What we’re looking for
*A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within office furniture, interiors, or a related commercial environment.
*Demonstrable experience winning new business — not just managing existing accounts.
*Strong closing instincts combined with genuine relationship-building ability.
*Experience managing or leading a sales team, with the gravitas to inspire and hold people accountable.
*Strategic thinker who can see the big picture and translate it into day-to-day actions.
*Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a smaller business.
*Excellent communicator with the confidence to represent the business at all levels.

Location
You would be based in the Norwich office but expected to travel throughout the UK as required to meet clients, with focus primarily on East Anglia and London.
