Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Transaction Executive / Mergers & Acquisitions Support Lead to provide critical support to our Finance Leadership Team during a significant investor transaction process.
Reporting into the CFO and Finance Leadership Team, you will provide a combination of executive support, transaction coordination and due diligence management during a live investor process.
You will work closely with Finance, Legal, Technology teams and external advisers, acting as a central coordination point across multiple workstreams.
3–6 Month Fixed Term Contract
East Midlands (Remote with Occasional Travel to Office)
£60,000–£70,000 FTE
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the transaction process runs smoothly, efficiently and to timetable, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction & Due Diligence Support
*Manage and maintain the virtual data room, including document uploads, indexing, version control and quality assurance
*Ensure transaction materials are accurate, complete and up to date
*Coordinate and track investor and adviser information requests
*Support vendor due diligence activity and monitor outstanding actions
*Prepare, manage and circulate Q&A documentation
*Coordinate responses from internal subject matter experts and ensure approvals are completed before submission
Executive & Stakeholder Coordination
*Provide senior-level executive support to the Finance Leadership Team throughout the transaction
*Coordinate complex and confidential meeting schedules involving:
*Internal leadership teams
*External legal, financial and tax advisers
*Investors and Private Equity representatives
*Prepare agendas, meeting packs and follow-up actions
*Act as a trusted liaison point for key stakeholders throughout the process
Governance, Organisation & Quality Control
*Maintain trackers covering:
*Data room activity
*Information requests
*Q&A status and approvals
*Ensure strong governance, confidentiality and attention to detail at all times
*Identify and escalate risks, gaps or delays proactively
*Support consistency of transaction narratives and approved documentation
Skills & Experience
Essential
*Proven experience in an Executive Support, Transaction Support or Transaction Coordination role within finance, consultancy, professional services or similar environments
*Previous exposure to private equity transactions, M&A processes, investor transactions or vendor due diligence
*Experience supporting senior stakeholders within fast-paced and confidential environments
*Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
*Strong document management and administrative capabilities
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Confidence engaging with senior leadership teams and external advisers
*Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

*Comfortable operating in high-pressure transaction environments
