Graduate Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Winchester
Salary: £26,000-£31,000

Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting ground investigations and a variety of geotechnical site activities
*Recording soil and rock conditions and carrying out in-situ testing
*Assisting in the production of factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
*Contributing to earthworks evaluations and foundation design recommendations
*Organising laboratory testing and analysing site investigation results
*Assisting with remediation projects and ground engineering solutions
*Overseeing site activities while maintaining health & safety standards
*Collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
*Keeping clear and accurate site records and technical documentation
*Communicating with clients, contractors, and external project stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:
*Degree qualified in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related subject (ideally achieving a 2:1 or above)
*Keen interest in geotechnical engineering and ground investigation works
*Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including technical reporting
*Good analytical and problem-solving skills
*Motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to develop professionally
*Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
*Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accurate record keeping
*Flexible and willing to undertake site-based work when required
*Full UK driving licence is advantageous
*Must have the right to work in the UK
