Semi Senior Accounts Assistant / Practice Accountant Grantham
£27,500 – £30,000
Full Time | Office Based
A long-established and friendly accountancy practice in Grantham is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accounts Assistant / Practice Accountant to join their close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within practice, gaining exposure across accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT, tax, payroll support, and client interaction.
Duties Include:*Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Bookkeeping and VAT returns
*Assisting with corporation tax and self-assessment work
*Supporting clients with accounting software queries
*Payroll support when required
*Liaising with clients via phone and email
*General office and administrative support
Ideal Candidate:*Previous accountancy practice experience preferred
*AAT studying, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar software
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Hands-on and happy working in a varied role
Benefits:*£27,500 – £30,000 salary depending on experience
