Quarry Operative / Mobile Plant Operative
£34,000 - £36,000 per annum
Full Time | Permanent
Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 experienced Quarry Operatives / Mobile Plant Operatives to join a busy and well-established operation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in quarrying, aggregates, recycling, heavy industrial production, or similar operational environments.
The Role:
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of a busy site, ensuring materials are processed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
Duties will include:
*Daily operation of site production processes
*Operating mobile plant machinery to feed production equipment
*Operating processing plant machinery
*Loading LGVs where required
*Weighbridge operation
*Planned maintenance duties
*General housekeeping across site
*Monitoring equipment performance and reporting issues
*Working in line with strict health & safety procedures
*Supporting wider operational requirements as needed
Working Hours:
*Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
*Alternate Saturdays: 7:00am - 12:00pm (as required)
Salary:
£34,000 - £36,000 per annum depending on experience
