Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services
Location: Bolton
Full-time Salary: Up to £55,000

Position Overview
Seeking a talented and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing Building Services design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of a variety of exciting and challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
*Design and specification of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, domestic water, drainage, and specialist systems
*Produce detailed calculations using industry software such as Hevacomp, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD
*Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation
*Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of building services
*Attend design team meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
*Ensure designs comply with current legislation, standards, and best practice (e.g., CIBSE, Building Regulations, BREEAM)
Key Requirements
*Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
*Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical building services design
*Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Hevacomp, or similar
*Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice (CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS EN)
*Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE) desirable
*Full UK driving licence preferred
