Finance Manager
Creative Agency | Farringdon, London | Hybrid (3-4 days in the office) | Full-Time | 3-6 month contract
We’re partnering with an ambitious and fast-growing creative agency to recruit an experienced Finance Manager for an initial 3–6 month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys ownership, process improvement, and working closely with stakeholders across the business during a key growth period.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role will play a key part in ensuring accurate reporting, smooth month-end processes, and strong financial controls across the business. You’ll also manage an outsourced finance team and support the continued development of finance operations.
Responsibilities
*Own and manage the month-end close process from start to finish
*Review and oversee the work completed by the outsourced finance team, ensuring reconciliations are accurate and delivered on time
*Ensure the P&L and balance sheet are fully reconciled and review-ready each month
*Investigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating material issues where required
*Manage AP and AR processes, ensuring invoices are processed and payments are made on time
*Support cash flow management through accurate reporting
*Act as a key point of contact for finance-related queries across the business
*Support department heads with budgeting, project costs, invoicing, and financial reporting
*Work closely with operational teams to ensure revenue recognition and billing align with contractual agreements
*Maintain accurate records within QuickBooks and the wider finance tech stack
*Support automation and process improvement initiatives
*Assist with the rollout of new financial processes, dashboards, and reporting tools
About You
*Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
*2+ years’ experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role within a creative or media agency
*Immediately available or available on short notice
*Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
*Confident communicator with the ability to explain finance clearly to non-finance stakeholders
*Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
*Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
