We’re recruiting on behalf of an exciting and fast-growing competitive socialising venue in Sheffield that’s redefining what a night out looks like.

From groups of mates and corporate socials to families and weekend crowds, the venue delivers an atmosphere that keeps people coming back for "just one more go."
They’re now looking for an ambitious Assistant General Manager to support the leadership team and help drive the venue forward.
The Role
As Assistant General Manager, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of a busy, high-volume venue. You’ll lead from the front, inspire the team during service, and help create the kind of customer experience people talk about long after they leave.
Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll have real influence across operations, team development, performance, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
*Supporting the General Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the venue
*Leading shifts and motivating the team in a fast-paced environment
*Coaching and developing team members to maximise performance
*Maintaining high standards across service, safety, and operations
*Monitoring KPIs, labour, stock, and venue performance
*Managing stock control and helping drive cost efficiencies
*Delivering exceptional customer experiences at every opportunity
*Contributing ideas and initiatives to help grow the business
About You
*Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality or leisure
*A confident leader who thrives in busy environments
*Calm under pressure with excellent decision-making skills
*Commercially aware and comfortable managing performance metrics
*Passionate about customer experience and team culture
*Organised, proactive, and hands-on in your approach
