1st Line Support Engineer


Location: Bristol – Hybrid working
Salary: £28,000–£32,000

Our client, a growing and technology-driven organisation, is looking to hire a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their internal IT support team in Bristol.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a passion for technology to join a collaborative environment where you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of systems, users and technologies.


You’ll be the first point of contact for technical support issues, helping to ensure users receive a responsive and professional IT support experience.


What you’ll do:


*Provide 1st line technical support across hardware, software and user accounts
*Log, manage and resolve IT support tickets within agreed SLAs
*Troubleshoot issues relating to Windows environments, Office 365 and end-user devices
*Support laptop builds, onboarding and user account administration
*Escalate more complex issues to 2nd and 3rd line teams where required


You’ll work closely with wider IT teams and end users across the business, ensuring a high level of customer service and technical support.


What we’re looking for:


*Previous experience within a 1st Line Support, IT Support or Service Desk role
*Good understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*Ability to prioritise and manage multiple support requests
*Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn new technologies


Experience with Active Directory, ticketing systems or hybrid working environments would be advantageous.
