Polyframe is looking for Window Fabricators / Production Operatives to join its manufacturing team in Lenwade.
This is a practical, hands-on role making uPVC windows and doors. It would suit someone who has worked in window fabrication, door manufacturing, glazing, beading, frame assembly, uPVC production or a similar factory role using hand tools, air tools or machinery.
Shifts available:
*Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.00pm
*Monday to Friday, 2.15pm to 10.15pm

*Progression to £13.06 and £13.81 per hour

What you’ll be doing
You’ll work as part of a busy production team manufacturing uPVC window and door products.
Your role will include:
*Cutting uPVC profiles
*Reinforcing and welding window frames
*Attaching handles and mechanisms
*Using hand tools, air tools and production machinery
*Beading and glazing windows
*Checking finished products for quality
*Handling and loading window frames safely
*Working to production targets
*Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
What we’re looking for
We are especially keen to hear from people with experience in:
*Window fabrication
*Door manufacturing
*uPVC or aluminium fabrication
*Glazing, beading or frame assembly
*Factory production using hand tools or power tools
*Practical assembly-style manufacturing
You do not need to have done this exact role before, but you do need to be practical, reliable, hands-on and comfortable working in a busy production environment.
Previous window or door experience would be a strong advantage.
