As an Audit & Accounts Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while working closely with senior leadership to ensure exceptional service standards and continuous improvement across delivery and team capability.
This is a hybrid position based in Worcester, offering flexibility alongside a strong platform for career progression within accountancy.
Key responsibilities*Managing a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client satisfaction
*Planning and coordinating audit and accounts engagements directly with clients
*Reviewing financial statements, audit files, and year-end accounts with detailed commentary for senior review
*Overseeing timely completion of statutory filings, including accounts and tax submissions
*Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact
*Supporting wider advisory work including tax and business consultancy assignments
*Monitoring portfolio performance and driving improvements against key departmental KPIs
*Supporting junior team members with coaching, feedback, and ongoing development
*Contributing to training and succession planning across the team structure


What we’re looking for*Strong background within practice, ideally in audit and accounts within accountancy
*Proven experience managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality outputs
*Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
*Excellent technical ability with strong attention to detail
*Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
*Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
*A proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and improvements
