Job RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established automotive manufacturing company based in Pudsey. The business is continuing to grow and invest heavily into the site and is looking for a strong Maintenance Engineer to support production and engineering operations on a permanent nights shift.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of packaging and production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the site.
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable nights-based role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
SectorAutomotive Manufacturing
Non-Negotiable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer*Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
*Electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding experience
*Ability to work permanent nights
*Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
*Strong understanding of production machinery and manufacturing environments
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer*Carrying out PPMs and breakdown repairs
*Fault finding on production and packaging machinery
*Supporting continuous improvement activities
*Maintaining accurate engineering records
*Working effectively as part of the engineering team
*Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer*Packaging industry experience
*Engineering qualifications
*Multi-skilled engineering background
*Conveyor or automated machinery experience
*CNC Machinery experience
