We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift qualification to join our client’s growing team in Southampton. Our client is a well-established packaging distributor experiencing continued growth and is looking for a hardworking individual to support their expanding warehouse operations.
About this role:
*Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
*12-week temp to perm role
*4:30am start time
*Picking and packing duties
*Printing, labelling and checking orders against manifests
*Organise stock in the warehouse
*Operate pallet jacks and forklifts
*Assisting the warehouse manager and team with all aspects of warehouse operations
*Maintain clean and tidy work environment and follow health and safety regulations
Requirements for this position:
*Own vehicle to commute to and from work is essential due to start time and location of the client
*Previous warehouse and order picking experience is essential
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment
*Computer literate
*Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
*Forklift licence is preferred
