Are you a passionate and resilient English Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives?
We are recruiting for dedicated English Teachers to join a supportive Alternative Provision setting from September, working with secondary-aged pupils who require a more personalised and nurturing approach to education.
This is an opportunity to have a real impact on students who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education, helping them rebuild confidence, engagement, and a love for learning.
The Role*Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary pupils
*Support students with a range of additional needs and SEMH challenges
*Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
*Build strong relationships that encourage progress both academically and personally
*Work closely with pastoral and support teams to meet individual student needs
We’re Looking For*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience
*Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
*A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
*Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
*Experience within alternative provision, SEMH, PRU, or SEN settings is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
